Construction and development

Development Progress & Project Film

A lift, a frame, a topping out. None of them come back. We capture the days a build never repeats, and hand them back named and sorted.

  • Build progress
  • Aerials
  • Project films
  • Organized files

Why BLOCK SiXTY

  • Passion

We at BLOCK SiXTY don't take on work just to fill a calendar. Behind every lens is a stubborn, genuine love of the craft. Every colour grade, every cut and every last pixel is a deliberate decision, made with care, because we love this work.

  • Fast

We know what it's like waiting on media, twiddling your thumbs while you need content. So we take pride in working around your schedule. Tell us the day that suits you, we'll do everything we can to be there, and we get your finished work back to you as quickly as we can do it right.

  • Local

We aren't some big corporate agency. We're a small, local team that has been making media across Western Canada for years, and we're not going anywhere.

Selected work

Every stage, framed

Selected moments from recent BLOCK SiXTY development work, from a window lift and open framing to finished buildings.

A crane lowering a crated window unit on red slings onto the deck of a scaffolded house.
Open timber wall framing with a rough window opening.
A finished apartment block from street level against a clear blue sky.
Aerial view of a finished mid-rise building and its entry court, surrounded by tall evergreen forest.
The lift. The one moment of the day that will never happen again.

What a developer gets

What A Developer Gets

Every build is different, so there are no fixed packages here. These are the pieces we shape around your project.

  • Build progress photography

The days that only happen once: the lift, the frame, the finish.

  • Aerial site context

Drone coverage for scale, setting and progress, where airspace and the site allow it.

  • Project films

A film that shows people what is being built, and why it matters.

  • Organized files

Named, sorted and ready to use, so the crane day is easy to find months later.

What the work can give you

Real things the project can use.

  • In the progress update

    Dated photos of real progress.

Proof of the work for the people who need to see it moving.

  • On the launch page

Imagery worthy of the finished place.

Frames and aerials the marketing team can use, not just the site team.

  • In the presentation

A film that explains the build.

The story of the project, told in pictures instead of paragraphs.

  • At handover

    The whole build, on file.

A record of how it happened, named and sorted, long after the scaffolding is gone.

Why it matters

Every building has a story that disappears when the walls close.

The finished project will look great. But the people who built it, funded it and waited for it deserve to see how it happened.

Some days only happen once.

A crated window swinging into place, the crew on the flatbed, the crane taking the weight. Miss it and it's gone.

The bones matter.

Open framing, the first walls, the shape of rooms before they're rooms. It's proof of the work, and it's beautiful in its own right.

Then show what it became.

The final image means more when people have watched it rise. That's the story buyers and stakeholders remember.

Have a build worth recording?Tell us about it

Before you book

Questions builders ask us.

It will. That's construction. Tell us when a milestone moves and we'll rework the visits with you. We'd rather be there on the right day than on the original one.

Often, yes. Every flight depends on the airspace, the weather and your site, so we check before we promise a shot.

It depends on how many visits the build needs and what each one should produce. Tell us about the project and we'll put together a clear quote. No guesswork.

That's the idea. The same visits can build your progress record and give the marketing team imagery and film they can use. We plan for both from the start.

Named, dated and sorted, so the day you need is easy to find months later.
